Philasande Sokhela

Philasande Sokhela is a highly efficient, innovative, and methodical lecturer. He has extensive experience in curriculum development, teaching on post-graduate and undergraduate levels, online lecturing, and qualification oversight. He relates well with people at all levels and has the flexibility of working well as part of a team or individually.
Phila is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, growth orientated work environment and possesses a proven ability to curate entrepreneurial development initiatives for township-based SMEs and organise student seminars and networking sessions for entrepreneurial development.
He is a scholarship recipient from the University of Glasgow via the Newton Fund and, in his second year, enrolled as a Ph.D. candidate. His topic is “Digital transformation of small businesses through local economic development in Gauteng”.
