The Johannesburg Business School is a faculty of the University of Johannesburg (UJ).

The University of Johannesburg, which takes its name from the city it calls home, is among South Africa’s most prominent universities. The way we live and work is changing at a pace never before seen in human history. While there have been three great industrial revolutions that have changed our way of life before, this Fourth Industrial Revolution – 4IR – is unprecedented in its speed, its all-embracing nature, and its global spread.

Free 4IR Courses @ UJ

The University of Johannesburg is providing two free online courses open to everyone: Introduction to ‘Artificial Intelligence in the 4IR’ (Fourth Industrial Revolution) and ‘African Insights’.

In 2019, UJ introduced a fully online massive open online course (MOOC) called Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), to all students .

Over the past few years, UJ has intensified its outreach with full-time and fully online short learning programmes to help upskill and reskill people for current and future jobs. This is in line with UJ’s global excellence and stature (GES) 4.0 strategic objective underpinned by the Forth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
